Review: Authors! I utilized Kayinat's services for my latest project and I am VERY HAPPY with her work. She provided a detailed 20-page report on the good and bad of my project, broken down by chapter. Not only that, but she provided suggested corrections that she'd like as a reader.
This is ON TOP OF a detailed edit of the manuscript itself. Her rates are extremely reasonable. I cannot recommend her enough

Developmental Editing

Review: I engaged Kayinat as a developmental editor as well as a beta reader. She made copious comments throughout the manuscript. Then she provided me with a comprehensive report that looked at the manuscript from many different perspectives: Story arc, character development, dialogue, plot holes. She ended with a review of the whole novel, chapter by chapter, to show me which parts were most effective, which could be enhanced, deleted, or perhaps moved elsewhere, and whether each would either bore the reader or would entice the reader to read more. Extremely thorough review and valuable insights. I can feel my book becoming better just from having read her report!

The in text comments helped me understand how she felt, whether she understood my characters and their motives, and if she had empathy for my characters. It showed where improvements could be made. Many of the comments made me smile.
The beta reader report Kayinat supplied was detailed and explained the reasoning behind her thoughts. She gave me some good things to think about.
